The Insider’s special correspondent Art Harris has obtained an exclusive interview and house tour with Atlanta’s so called Mansion Madam, 43 year old Lisa Taylor, charged with running a pricey brothel that prosecutors say offered $10,000 wild sex weekends at her million dollar country club estate.
Taylor was indicted last month with sidekick “Naughty Nikki” Probert, for prostitution, running a brothel, illicit drugs and racketeering. Both women have plead not guilty and are out on bail.
A two- part series on the Deep South’s gossipy sex scandal — that could soon feature Taylor in a TV reality show –airs on the popular CBS-Paramount syndicated show, The Insider, Sept. 13-14, at 7:30 p.m. est its new Atlanta affiliate, WXIA-TV, Channel 11.
Over the years, Taylor, aka Melissa Wolf, the former adult entertainer and Penthouse Pet, says she’s earned a fine living dancing, making adult films and charging fans for private photo shoots, insisting she sold “fantasy, not sex,” she tells Harris.
But Gwinnett County District Attorney Danny Porter, in an exclusive interview, tells Harris: “they were prostitutes,” and that “some husbands were spending $600-700 a week on the hookers unbeknownst to their wives.” He says “nervous” men have been calling to ask if they’re “in the book,” and women have been calling him to ask if husbands are in “the book.”
But he’s not telling. Yet.
Taylor and sidekick, “Naughty Nikki” Probert, were indicted last month on charges of prostitution, racketeering and illicit drugs, with hints big names might be revealed soon on a real life Wisteria Lane in conservative, very Republican Gwinnett County, where the so called Madam is accused of running a brothel in the burbs.
Harris has been following Taylor with his camera for a new reality TV show he’s developing called, “The Bible Belt Unbuckled,” that explores the people and the politics behind sex, power and scandals in the suburbs through colorful criminal cases like Taylor’s. It’s familiar territory for Harris, a former embedded journalist in Iraq and 2 time Emmy award winner who has busted TV preachers who rail against sin while “sinning” themselves, the other high profile stories.
Taylor tells Harris she decided to get out of the adult business to sell real estate, obtained her license and sold two houses when she was arrested. That cost her the job in real estate.
In the first media tour of her scandalous mansion, down the street from singer Beyonce and shamed footballer Michael Vick–”we’ve nicknamed the subdivision ‘Club Fed’”–Taylor shows off the infamous bedroom, bathroom with giant jacuzzi, her kitchen, living room and the office upstairs where she’s hung her license to sell real estate.
“That’s where old strippers go to die,” she laughs.
Now, to pay her lawyers, she’s hit the road again, forced, she says, to return to her old career as a stripper, dancing with women half her age, to pay the bills, and invites the cameras backstage at the Paradise Lounge in Columbus, Georgia to meet the dancers who treat her like a rock star. “I’m old enough to be their mamas,” she says, shaking her head.
She’s also putting her cavernous house overlooking the golf course at Sugarloaf Country Club Estates on the market.
“There’s real drama in following an over the hill stripper in crisis as smart and over the top as Lisa, as she fights the charges and tries to make a comeback in a career she thought she’d left behind,” says Harris.
“She sees herself as ‘Flashdance Meets Rocky,’ and let me tag along to film her backstage in seedy strip clubs to cooking stir fry, to tending her 7 cats and two dogs. She just wants to be seen as a human being.”

Sinners beware Art Harris is going to get into your underware…lol it is a business and men will always be men with needs as far as I am concerned, preacher or not better this than turning to internet sex with someone you do not know, you go girl friend you make as much money as you can and have fun while doing it and Art great job at showing this side of things. What is the difference between G#d and a preacher? G#d knows he is not a preacher..sex is not a sin.

I think you might be one of the coolest people on the planet! Thats one of the things that can get me so freaking crazy sometimes! Hypocrites! all these people that try to come off as holier than thou and in the end, they are the most dirty! I really dont feel like getting too worked up over it cause I can get worked up over it.
I really appercate your work. Your really do seem to be one of the few honset journalist we have.

I was invited to one of her infamous “photo shoots” with her and a lady friend of hers (Not Nikki) and have subsequently gone back and forth between regret and relief that I did not take the ladies up on their offer.
Prostitution was not part of the offer, although I suspected that it was not an option to be ruled out.
Her friend was a mutual friend, which is how I came to be introduced to her, so it was an interesting and in depth encounter and I have saved a few souvenirs from the time.
I was single at the time and unconcerned about “scandal”, but although I had thoroughly enjoyed their company in a purely social setting, I declined the more intimate offer.
In retrospect, viewing her recent prosecution and conviction, it is apparent that high end prostitution was involved. That’s especially interesting to me, since I have become an outspoken opponent to Human Trafficking in the several years that have passed since then.
