The Bald Truth has learned that the South Carolina developer charged with contempt in connection with the Horizon’s home break-in has again snubbed the Bahamian Supreme Court, skipping his second scheduled hearing Tuesday.
After the no-show by G. Ben Thompson, who briefly dated Anna Nicole Smith, Her Ladyship Justice Allen ordered the case against him to proceed anyway.
Thompson and his lawyer, Godfrey Pro Pinder, are charged with violating court injunctions in the so-called break-in at Horizons, where the developer’s son-in law, Ford Shelley, admitted he removed dvds, computers and other items belonging to Smith, the day after the Playboy centerfold died.
Executor Howard K. Stern filed burglary charges against Shelley, who Bahamian police sources tell me is still under investigation. At the contempt hearing two weeks ago, Pinder presented an affadavit by Thompson, who skipped that hearing as well, claiming he feared for his safety after undisclosed “threats” if he appeared in the Bahamas.
Meanwhile, Pinder, who did appear and tried to represent GBT Tuesday, tells me he in an exclusive interview, he was ordered to find his own counsel, and has two weeks to appeal his removal.
For the second time, Thompson was ordered to find another lawyer because of an attorney-client conflict where each is accused of the same violations, and return Sept. 19, for the next hearing.
Regardless whether he shows, the trial is expected to go on, with Stern returning to the stand to testify, and, sources tell me, possibly introducing videotapes showing what happened the day of the break-in, along with witnesses who saw Shelley enter the house.
Shelley has told me he didn’t “break in,” because Anna Nicole gave him a key, and that he only took items to safeguard them at Smith’s request.
On Tuesday, Stern was allowed to testify, while Pinder hunkered down to listen to how his clients’ once sunny relationship with the reality TV star soured after her son, Daniel, died, and they began pressing her for a mortgage on a home she believed was a gift and Thompson insisted was not.
Her deed to the house, and other documents, could become evidence, along with new witnesses who are also expected to testify, legal sources tell me.
In our exclusive interview, Pinder told me that “Ben Thompson is afraid he could be arrested if he sets foot in the Bahamas,” and cited a “family funeral” as another reason Thompson skipped out.
A legal dispute has been raging over ownership of the $950,000 house Smith says was a gift and Thompson’s claim she promised to pay him for it. In a separate proceeding, he has dropped his claim to the house, but sued her estate and Stern for damages.
With some of the Bahamas top attorneys snapped up by Stern, and other parties, Pinder said it would take some time to recruit a good attorney for Thompson and bring him up to speed.
He also argued he was just doing his client’s bidding, in trying to evict Stern and Smith, and shouldn’t be charged as a defendant. “I was doing my work as an attorney,” he told me. “I just went to the gate and served a document (an eviction notice obtained from a lower court) at the Horizon’s gate.”
Pinder also told me he’d reassured Thompson and Shelley there was nothing to fear in returning because police contacts told him no warrants had been issued in connection with the break-in. He also found reason to be upbeat that, despite bad form in dissing the court, the judge didn’t use the no show to enter a “default decision” against Thompson. He said he planned to send his client a transcript of Tuesday’s hearing.
As an afterthought, I asked if he feared, in skipping court, his client aimed to let Pinder take the fall, whatever it may be, but he said he couldn’t imagine such “good people like Ben and Ford” would do that. Had they paid him for his considerable hours, I asked?
There was a long pause. “I’d rather not comment,” he said, diplomatically.

What I would like to know if Ford Shelly broke into the house where was the baby and Mrs. Gibson. Howard said the baby was home with Mrs. Gibson when they went to Florida. When Anna died. Why didn’t she see all this and how could he take a picture of the frige with the Methadone in it if people were there.

He doesn’t own Horizons, never did, he is a squatter there and at the time he alleges Thompson did this, he wasn’t appointed executor of Anna’s will so basically he is a nothing which he has proven over and over already. He was nothing to her, nothing to the baby, not an owner of the home and not legally responsible to manage Anna’s estate. Again, he’s a nothing nobody.

I knew Thompson wasn’t going to show up. He should not be allowed to file a lawsuit in the Bahamas. He has no regard for the legal system there. He needs to pay Anna’s estate for their legal fees.
It’s amazing how quiet the media is about these issues, here in the states. It would be laughable if it wasn’t such a shame. I can smell payback on the Horizons. (no pun intended).

I was wondering what was happening today in court. Well at least Pinder told the real reason why Thompson wouldn’t appear down there. We all knew it anyway lol, the big coward. I really had to laugh when he came up with that “threat” reason lol. We all got a good laugh out of that one.
I wonder if Howard can get him for blaming him for that, but probably not, since they wouldn’t name him, cowards that they are.

WA hOO!!! Darn right he was afraid of going to jail! Theft penalities are very high in the Bahamas (I was told by a Bahamian in Grand Bahama that it was a life sentence for stealing an orange or a million dollars - don’t quote me because I have not personally researched this).

To the poster above: Howard has every right to file charges for the break in at the house. He lived their too, that was also his home!
So now they are going to sue Dannielynn’s estate? Is this correct? They are now going to sue a baby? Go get em again Howard and don’t let up. They should pay for all they have done to you, Anna, and Dannielynn with all their lies, changing their stories over and over, and so on.

He was somebody to Anna Nicole Smith. She loved him and he loved and adored her. They were engaged to be married legally. They were totally committed to one another. He managed her and her affairs for almost 12 years. He was listed and appointed as her executor. The deed was in Anna’s name making him responsible. Not to mention he lived there with her and Dannielynn and his belongs were there also.
I also don’t believe for one minute that G. Ben Thompson or Ford Shelley were doing any favors for ANNA. They were looking for the deed to the property and when they couldn’t find it they took everything else. And then used her things to get revenge. But it all back fired on them.

If there was a legitimate claim to the house (and there might’ve been one) the actions they took just days after Daniel died accompanied by the “break-in” after she died - along with distribution of edited tapes and other materials to the media made them pariahs… I don’t care what the circumstances were/are..to go into Horizons and put the clown tape out into the media was reprehensible. If Anna Nicole trusted them that much and truly told them “if anything happens to me…” intimating they should get the most sacred things out of the house…WHY DID THEY GO FOR PHONES, PHOTOS, COMPUTERS INSTEAD OF DANNIELYNN?

And this is how they repay him, not for the house but to sue him repeatly until he give up, and once again Howard is living off of someone else’s money. If you were living in a home with someone and they said it was THEIR house, but there was a dispute about the house, and then that someone you were living with DIED and the person they were fighting with entered the home you were living in, the DAY after that person died and while YOU were OUT OF THE COUNTRY, and CLEARED OUT ALL THE POSSESSIONS (some may have been YOURS as well as the deceased’s), wouldn’t YOU file a BURGLARY report?

Everyone is this saga has told half truths. No one is clean. I think there are many questions that may never be answered that involves all parties. I don’t think it was right for the break-in and all items should be turned over to Dannielynn who is the only living heir. Now that GBT has relinquished the home, shouldn’t it be sold and the money put in a fund for Dannielynn? I don’t understand how Howard can continue to live in a home when he’s doesn’t own it nor was granted Bahamanian residency. As it relates to Horizon’s, we don’t know of the true intentions of GBT and Anna. However, it’s strange that if Anna really thought Horizon’s was hers then why did she purchase another home on the island that was being renovated and they were planning to move into. Whatever happened to that house? As it relates to lawsuits, all parties are stalling right now. I don’t believe final legal custody has been resolved, Daniel’s inquest is on hold by HKS, GBT and FS contempt charges (at least it appears the court is proceeding on this one), the continuing Marshall estate saga and who knows what Virgie has up her sleeves. I sure hope Daniel’s inquest isn’t swept under the rug because I think the truth should come out on how and possibly who gave him the methadone which contributed to his death. If he didn’t have a prescription bottle for it then where did it come from? Also, I thought methadone was an illegal drug in the Bahamas so why isn’t the government moving forward with the inquest.

Carol..maybe you should acquaint yourself with a few facts in this case. Howard was the man Anna was going to marry. He was the man she committed to in a publicized ceremony. And he is the executor of her estate. You can fool yourself but others know the real facts.

To those uninformed, uneducated, ignorant people who still feel it is necessary to post negative comments about Mr. Stern all I can say is go read somewhere else. It shocks me to the core that you people can’t take a deep breath and read TRUTH with an open mind. Do you really think that Mr. Stern was “nothing” to Anna and the baby? Really?? That is laughable. He was with Anna over 10 years. Judging by the calendar and their sex life (YES, Howard & Anna) there was good reason for Howard AND Anna to believe he was the father. Not to mention, he lived in the house that was burglarized and therefore can report a break-in. Do people honestly think that if there was some master plan by Mr. Stern, it would slip by authorities in several states let alone 2 different countries? Please. Educate yourselves.

This is who Anna Nicole Smith was dealing with in the days and months following Daniel’s death. This man who wont even show up for court, isnt man enough to stand and present his case is showing his true colors to the world.
He killed Anna Nicole in cold blood.. He presented her with eviction papers when he knew she feared losing her remaining child to its father and was in deep mourning over the loss of her beloved son. When she did die he swooped in to steal her belongings and those of HKS and DLB.
The Bahamian government should indict him on all possible charges, put him in jail and let him think about the way he treated “his friend” Anna Nicole Smith.
Howard Stern, thank you for standing by Anna in death as you were the only one who did so in life. God Bless you.

Thompson thinks he is in the USA not the Bahamas, British law is very different wait and see what happens they won’t play with him very long. I can’t wait when they throw out all his frivilous court cases and keep what Howard has left.It’s just a matter of time before Howard owns the house, because of abandonment, he gets most of the stuff back for Dannilynn, and wins the battle for the Marshall estate for her as well. I really wish Howard would sue all of the newscasters who used him to get ratings for their their shows. They interviewed people who had no credibility whatsoever, like they were experts, and made people think things that were untrue with their slick sensationalist reporting.
I remember Rita Crosby on MSNBC, on the day Anna’s autopsy report came out. Crosby implied over and over and over that Howard harmed Anna by shooting her up all of the time with dirty needles. Her “sources” had confirmed this. That is just a small sample of the crap Crosby did on a daily basis back then. She wanted to make Howard look guilty and she never missed an opportunity to do it. Now she is supposedly writing a book about the ordeal, - like she has even a shred of credibility left.
We all watched NG, GVS, GR and that, too good for this world, A. Banfield do the same kinds of things. I remember Banfield practically daring Howard to come after her, saying - “he does not have a leg to stand on,” when they all started to get warnings about their behavior from Lin Wood.
I don’t even watch them at all anymore- I go online for news. Art’s site is fantastic, he has proven that the FACTS really do speak for themselves.

I know that some people are frustrated that the latest good news about Howard and bad news about FS/GBT isnt being covered by the media. I really think thats simply because the bahamas doesnt allow cameras in their courts rooms. I’d be willing to bet if they did allow cameras, it would be covered more. I find this pitulary(sp?) frustrating because I believe that out all of things things that need to be covered by the media to truly exonerate Howard is this BS with FS/GBT and Daniel’s inquest. People need to see for themselves Ford Shelley try to explain away under oath him breaking into Anna’s house the day after she died to gather all her stuff for “safe keeping” and then how and why the “clown tape” was all over the media. And the people need to hear for themselves professional doctors say under oath that not only did Howard have NOTHING to to with Daniel’s death but they need to hear the story of him being just as upset as Daniel’s mother when Daniel died.
I aslo think that if the any hearing between Howard and JOQ and Larry and DO goes to trail, if cameras are allowed inside, it will be picked up by the media more. Especailly if TV talking heads like GVS and NG are called as witnesses.
If Larry says under oath that Howard was always willing to get the DNA test done but Howard’s only stipulation was that it had to be done in private to keep Dannielynn safe from “mommie dearest” but it was DO who was preventing that from happening, and it was all on TV, I really think people’s opinon of Howard would start to change even more and their would be a new “bad guy” in this whole drama.

Unbelievable: FS says he didn’t break in because ANS gave him a key. In ur 8/9 posting “Inside Horizon’s Break-in” FS says, “he used a spare key he’d made for just such emergencies”. So goes the tales about the ANS agreement on Horizons.
This man should learn to keep his mouth shut, he’s told so many “stories” no one believes him.

Well, look, there is a case out there, monies Anna Nicole hoped to receive from her husband’s estate, and naturally HKS has to follow up on a case he has invested so many years of work. And if he said to Larry: “Let’s cooperate and take this situation as far as it goes,” then what’s wrong with that?

How does it PROVE anything? It’s TMZ reporting OK Magazine’s CLAIMS regarding Larry and Howard. There’s no actual PROOF of ANYTHING.

I am astounded at what I just heard on the TV. Rita Cosby (MSNBC) has written a book in which she states that Howard and Larry conspired to kill Anna in an attempt to obtain the money from Anna’s ex husband.
What has Howard done to warrant all this torture? They will never leave him alone.
Rita Cosby is nothing but an old “Has Been” who is making a last-ditch effort to make a come back. What goes around comes around, Rita.

Stay tuned. Lin Wood has put all on notice they put on Rita as a guest at their peril, to spread charges that were debunked long ago. As for the new Brokeback Mountain angle, if that were so, which those close to Stern and Birkhead say isn’t, and Larry has publically denied, how could the other side have kept it under wraps for so long? Who’s got the so called tape? But what does it matter anyway if it were true?
Some will ask is DL safer with two Dads like that or a grandmother Anna didn’t want close to DL because of her child-rearing record…
Larry and Howard are telling people they haven’t begun to fight, but they will.

If there’s anything significant about the OK magazine story, it’s that someone finally called LB on relentlessly advertising his little girl. In this case, it happened to interfere with the magazine’s bottom line but nevertheless represents a diss to LB’s shady attempts to make a buck.

Here is what I have learned regarding OK mag’s allegations:
Larry needs to make as much money as possible right now while there is still interest. Another mag was willing to pay more than OK. Highest bidder wins.
OK Mag needs to sell as many magazines as possible so creating a scandal increases OK Mags sales and attempts to make themselves look better when the best pics and exclusives are going to another mag. It isn’t their “high” moral ground that is keeping Larry/Dannielynn off the cover. They are desparate and I believe are going to support the negative comments from Rita’s book.
Just wait and see when Larry and Danni show up on SOME OTHER Mags cover! (I have heard it is People mag but it is a rumor at this point).

I also believe it is not for their high moral grounds,come on, really look at the suits they have lost David H is the latest where was their high moral ground when they printed untruths about him.They lost so the proof is there for all to see.Most of these mags OK Star.Splash ect print rummors instead of facts.Rita crosby’s book being published out of country should tell us all something and it is not that it is about the truth but that it is rumor and speculation made to destroy peoples lives and reputations .She was close to VA IMO so I would think some of her opinions came from VA.What does that tell you?

Thompson would not have been eligible to buy a home in the Bahamas, so when Anna voiced her interest, it was a perfect solution. Thompson and Shelley team up and hatch a brilliant plan. Thompson tells her he would buy a house for her, later discuss it with partner son-in-law. Brilliant idea, they could buy a house with every intention of deceiving her later.
Act Two: The big Bozo sees $$$ signs on the forehead of a distraught woman desperately seeking solace from a stalker. Nothing can possibly go wrong! Anna will move to the Bahamas, her appendage (Howard, in their (Thompson and Shelley’s) opinion) surely will not follow, of course not! They plan on deceiving her in any way they can, with Shelley at the helm.
In the meantime, while speaking with Thompson, Anna brings up the subject of paternity. Thompson declines and assures her he was visited by Dr. Bobbitt years ago.
Act Three: Anna moves to the Bahamas, Shelley and Thompson trade high 5s. Howard follows, Shelley starts steaming, Thompson throws his hands up in the air, Howard reads the fine print, cautions Anna who then perks up and hoists her antenna. The antenna picks up some bad vibes sending Anna’s antenna to high alert.
Act Four: The baby arrives, Anna feels safe and realizes Howard is for real. She dusts the cobwebs out of her eyes and agrees to marry the man she has chosen to be her baby’s father. Breathes a sigh of relief, convinced she can shake off the barracuda who has been stalking her.
Act Five: Daniel arrives, Anna is ecstatic, after all, her entire world is right there with her.
Act Six: Something hits the fan, Anna’s world begins to crumble at a fast pace until it disintegrates completely. Howard is left cleaning up that fan. Each time he cleans an inch, another load pours down that fan, which is running at high speed and spreading the mess far and wide but the cleaning continues….

Opri and Crosby Caught in the Act!
Tonight, from deep inside the bowels of Levin-land, comes word that Opri and Crosby have been long-time lesbian lovers! According to top-notch reporter Stephen Glass’s new tell-all, the two were caught in a Bahamian hotel room by none other than the venerable Prince Von Anholt, who says he was shocked – SHOCKED – to see Opri leaning against a hotel wall with her Joe boxers pulled down around her bony ankles. Crobsy, Von Anholt noted, was wearing a lovely beige all-in-one girdle, and come-walk-with-me orthopedic shoes, while holding a digital video recorder in one hand.
“She was a lover of mine,” Von Anholt said of the former C-list reporter. “We used to meet all the time in an undisclosed hotel room, in a city I can’t quite remember, at murky times which I can’t recall right now. But she was, I know, always such a sweet girl.”

To TAMMY that gets up and goes to work everyday to pay for her house and criticizes Howard for not working and takes up for GBT and FS. How do you think they got their money????? Do you think it was legal? I doubt it. And did you ever think they were trying to cash in on Anna because of her celebrity by giving the house to her and then trying to get her to buy it for more money?
Don’t you think Howard had his WORK cut out for him for the past 12 years fighting Anna’s legal battles and supporting her through her hardships when her sorry family did nothing but kick her when she was down? Her true family was Daniel, Howard Dannielynn and the people that took care of her. Why do you think he deserves NOTHING?

As real estate hustlers galore, the good old boys, one a convicted drug smuggler, his son in law, a fast-talking, very swishy son of a used car salesman, both REAL ESTATE MEN, get desperate and demand payment or some kind of a paper trail they now insist they didnt’ mean to give her, but sell her.
Only these real estate brains, oops, didn’t get a signed agreement to back up their alleged deal, whatever it was, if it was.
Anna believed it a gift, but whatever it was, she realizes the boys, in demanding payment, must not be the kind of friends they were before, and saw her as their sugar mama all along, banking their kindness would be repaid down the road, when her Marshal money came in.

I want Howard and Larry to whoop natural ass! I never thought I’d say Larry too, but in this case, I want them to tear down the walls with these slanderous people. This is totally absurd. I started to ask, how could people get so angry that they turn so mean, but I can feel myself getting like that right now, just writing this. I, for a moment, felt really angry, but after a deep breath, I’m ready for the whooping to take place. These people will do anything and say anything to get Howard. It’s not going to happen. All he has to do is stand and I think he will. Lin Wood will do the rest in this case.
I hope Larry didn’t give Debra Opri anything that she can do the fool with. I hope he has learned something from this! Whichever way it goes, I just want Howard and Dannielynn to be alright.
Breathless Rita needs to go the hell away. She is so lacking in morality. How the hell can she write a book as truth when she didn’t even know anything about Anna? She probably hasn’t spoken to anyone that really knew her. Virgie didn’t know her and that amazon looking Jackie Hatten didn’t know her. She was along for the ride when she was there. Now that is a hanger on. Nobody cares about her being a hanger on.
All of them hate Howard because he put the brakes on them. First, it was Anna’s body and where it was going to be buried, screech!!!! Then it was Dannielynn, screech!!!!!!!!!!! next, it was the will, screech!!!!!!. Next, Horizons, screech!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!. It’s totally crazy, but he’s smart and he is going to handle up.
Howard is doing just what Anna would want him to do, taking care of business. He certainly has my vote.

After reading all of this newly surfaced info, I tend to go back to my earlier thoughts. I believe there should be a new DNA test done and it kept highly GUARDED. I still think it is possible that Howard is the father.
With all of the stories buzzing around, it is easy to believe that the Larry Dna test could have been FALSIFIED.
I have always posted this and my thoughts are any more CRAZY than all of the other stories pertaining to the ANS saga of events.

Art please keep your camera’s ready….I would love to see a whole video of Shelley and Cosby crying together. He can certainly turn on the water works at a moments notice, and I’m sure Cosby can also. However, the tears don’t bring any sympathy from me for either of them.
