In a world wide web exclusive, ET Special Correspondent ART HARRIS has uncovered a Bahamas court order that allows HOWARD K. STERN to ask that the developer who has been trying to evict him from the the home he shared with ANNA NICOLE SMITH, Horizons, be jailed for trespassing and contempt.
The Bahamas Supreme Court order, posted on www.artharris.com, gives Stern the greenlight to retaliate against those who have vilified him in the media as a “squatter,” by suing South Carolina developer G. BEN THOMPSON, and his lawyer, GODFREY PRO PINDER, for going onto the Horizons property when court injunctions were in place protecting Smith against such intrusions.
At the time, Thompson was suing Anna Nicole, and later her estate, for title to the home he claims he sold her for $950,000, and she believed was a gift. Two judges issued injunctions banning anyone from entering the property to disturb the former reality TV star until the lawsuit over ownership was settled. The order, signed June 19, cites Thompson’s and Pinder’s “joint and individual breaches.”
According to the order, signed June 19, Howard K. Stern can apply for “an Order of Committal,” or contempt, against Thompson and Pinder “on the grounds of their joint and individual breaches of the orders of this court made” Nov. 20, 2006, and Feb. 9, 2007.
Harris reports one injunction was issued last fall when Thompson had the electricity cut off at Horizons; Anna Nicole’s baby, DANNIELYNN, was inside. Stern won a second injunction Feb. 9, the day after Smith died in Florida, when Thompson son-in-law FORD SHELLEY says he went into the house to remove computers, dvds and other property “for safekeeping,” and later turned some of the items in to police.

I do not care how you spin this – HKS does not deserve to get this house for FREE!!!!!!!!!!!!!! He has been a leech all of his life, now he is trying to sue everyone to keep up his lavish lifestyle. I was never a fan of Anna Nicole’s. She was way too over the top for me. I think that she manipulated people to her purposes with little regard for their needs. In my opinion there was only one person of quality in her life and that was Howard K. Stern. He has been much maligned on TV and the Internet. Murderer. Squatter. He has been accused of everything but the theft of the crown jewels or the death of JFK. People should be ashamed to have spoken of him with such hate and ill gotten facts. I think that he is a decent person badly used by Anna – but it appears that he cared deeply for her. I am happy beyond belief to see his situation turning around and the dishonest and notoriety hungry people who vilified him getting what they so richly deserve. Bring on the law suits. It is Howard’s time now.
BTW, Howard, don’t forget about Nancy Grace and Gretta. They really kicked the dickens out of you when you could not defend yourself.

It’s amazing how so many people think they can get away with flagrantly violating the law. They think they are above the law for some reason.
Art, these “talking heads” on TV wouldn’t know anything about anything if not for you. They were actually getting their info from these tabloid rags, then spouting off about things they knew nothing about.You should have your own TV show and put Nancy, Greta and Geraldo out of business.

Now hopefully, everyone will realize that Howard is no damn squatter. I knew this was bs from the beginning. I hope he gets justice on every front. Everyone was on board for the crucifixion of him, but now what? No one is going to come out and apologize. That’s the way satan works. I know in my heart of hearts that things will work out for Howard. All things happen, not in due time, but in divine time.

These people are finally going to be prosecuted for all of the heartache they put on Anna and Howard when they should have been sympathetic and understanding during their time of grief. It is clear these people never cared about Anna and only contributed to her death with the stress they put on her. Now if only her Mother were punished for contribution in Anna’s heartache Howard would finally be able to grieve and have some peace from the slime that called themselves Anna’s family and friends.

I don’t get how you own a house if you didn’t pay for it. If you don’t have it in writting it is a gift and the other person doesn’t have it in writting it wasn’t a gift, isn’t that he/she said.
I think the bottom line should be that only the Thompson’s paid money for the house. The title wasn’t issues fully to Anna. So, either Anna’s estate coughs up, $900,000 to GT to pay him back for the purchase price and then Anna gets the house OR GT gets the house and HKS leaves the premise.
Further who is paying for the electric bills, maintenance, etc? Isn’t GT paying those expenses at the moment. Again, how can a person be responible for bills they are not creating.
Lastly, how the heck is the Executor of the Estate living for free in a house owned by the Estate. My dad died and has an estate. If the Trustee/Executor of his estate was living rent free in a house belonging to the Estate, I would be throwing a fit. Why isn’t Larry allowing HKS to live in Dannielynn’s trust property (assuming Anna’s Estate owns the house). It is to wierd.
Honestly, I really don’t get it. I just don’t get how you get a house and not have to pay for the property. Seems like a very odd (at best situation). Doesn’t make a lick of sense to the average person.

Thanks for keeping the public informed!! You seem to be the only journelist on top on this story! This house has bad karma and I guess it will end up in Anna’s estate. Maybe DL will want to stay there when she’s old enough to visit her mom. Howard is surrounded by all those memories of Anna.I guess it must comfort him to stay in Annas home.

Jo–Great question, and it has to do with what makes good television.
A court order like the one Stern obtained, gives him permission to sue for contempt and tresspass, with possible jail time attached. It’s news but not very visual. A Court Order doesn’t walk and talk, so makes a better online story, in print.
Explaining the law, especially where the case stands would I’m sure put non-ANS news fans to sleep.
Now someone going to jail, that’s visual, and if that happened, I’m sure it would be on The Show or any show.

Thanks Art for all the positive reporting in regard to the Anna saga. It will be interesting to see if the media spreads this and other good news, especially FOX/Greta, Nancy, and in the Bahamas where Anna and Howard had to endure so much bad press.

I check your site out often, but have not commented in quite some time. I also want to vent:
Everyone in all the Anna issues have claimed to be most concerned about Dannielynn. Larry and Howard have given us such a wonderful example of how we as adults can conduct ourselves by working together for the good of Dannielynn. Therefore, it disturbs me that some of us still can’t follow their example by putting the past behind us, accepting the fact Larry is Dannielynn’s Dad and supporting both Howard and Larry, equally for the good of Dannielynn.
Does it really have to be one or the other? Is it in the best interest of Dannielynn?. Considering all Dannielynn will have to read and deal with, have those people ever considered how traumatic and confusing it would be if Dannielynn felt she had to live up to people’s expectations of having two Dad’s?
I don’t think we need a child psychologist to say this could be more harmful and disturbing than watching her Mom’s breast implant video, or any other issue, yet no one seems to be ranting, raving, or venting about our this “elephant in the room.” To me, it is more than past time for those of us who claim to care most about Dannielynn to support Howard and Larry equally. Is it not best to let Dannielynn decide things for herself?
It seems to me that many of us Howard supporters do not give Larry due credit as far as what Howard has been able to do for Anna and Dannielynn. Nor do past Larry supporters want to give Howard his due credit. Thankfully Larry had the wisdom of following Anna’s wishes to have Howard as Executor of her Estate, but I believe he could have sought legal recourse in that matter too. Thus, I hope we remember that everything Howard does legally for the good of Anna and Dannielynn is due to Larry’s decision to work with Howard, which thus far has shut Virgie out, while allowing Howard the opportunity to show the world (including Greta, Virgie, etc.) that he is a smart man and as Larry put it, had worked years, tirelessly for Anna.
It also disturbs me that some of the comments posted on your site are actually no more civil than those that can be found on TMZ, except the people mostly support Anna, Howard, Larry, Dannielynn and Daniel have been outraged by the media’s bias, behavior, etc., yet we do not feel compelled to do any better. I feel it is in Dannielynn’s best interest we all need to choose our words carefully from here on in.
Some people have been wondering how Virgie feels about certain things. Personally, I do not want to know ……..Who or why anyone wants her opinion or possibly meddling in Anna’s affairs again is beyond me.
Thanks again Art, for all your time, effort and this site. I hope you know many of us appreciate and rely on you to give us so much time consuming and reliable reporting regarding the on-going Anna issues..

GBT and FS are two crooks they always have been and they always will be. They both need thrown in jail for a long time I hope more comes out against them and they go away for even longer. Like Anna would ever say if something happens to me get my computer what a coupla liars! She obviously was at odds with those two bozo’s. The only thing they were doing was going and stealing stuff to sell and turn into drugs or more real estate or planes for their nasty asses. They have no morals or values. They are the scum of society. Shame though they are 10 times more rich than I will ever be! Shame that everything they have or ever will have is from dirty money. I would like to know why the court system is catering to Howard K. Stern who is a slimy snake and has manipulated and intimidated the courts to the point where this has become not only suspicious but ridiculous. Even if he had a “dream team” of lawyers, I cannot in my wildest imagination see how the courts are being ruled and intimidated by his delay tactics, and other delays such as Daniel Smith’s inquest which is very vital. Why are the courts catering to him? It seems to me that they seem to fear him for some reason or other. People are getting outraged at his behavior and are getting very suspicious. He used these delay tactics when he insisted he was the father of Danielynn and he knew darn well that he was not the father; now he is using the same behavior in delaying the inquest. Something is wrong somewhere.

Harris fails to mention that the court order is a highly questionable “ex-parte” injunction obtained from an allegedly crooked judge by one of the most corruption-accused attorneys in the Bahamas.
Ex-parte orders are judgements that an attorney obtains while in the private chambers of a judge. The opposing party is neither present, nor even made aware of, the legal actions going on behind their back. Because of the potential for abuse, ex-parte orders are to be used sparingly and a very good explanation must be given as to why the session should be ex-parte, rather than having the opposing attorney present.
In the Bahamas, that procedure is highly abused.
Most of the rampant legal corruption that occurs in The Bahamas is the result of ex-parte orders from corrupt judges, obtained by corrupt attorneys in sneaky midnight ex-parte sessions.
It appears that the latest action related to Anna Nicole Smith is no different.
The lawyer who obtained the ex-parte order, Wayne Munroe, has been accused of “fixing” cases by making arrangements with key players before a case comes to court.
Outrageous, but equally unsurprising, Munroe is the President of the Bahamas Bar Association, a loosely-knit group, that some say, are nothing but organized criminals posing as attorneys.
This particular case involves a cast of characters right out of a seedy crime novel, including; allegedly corrupt lawyers on all sides; malleable judges; corrupt government officials; a developer with a questionable background; a confused, drug addicted celebrity bimbo and her beady-eyed lawyer/lover/stalker.

Do you not care at all that FS tried to take advantage of Anna only days after Daniel died and tried to have her sign papers that would have given them an extra half million dollars?? JD (8)- My best GUESS is that Howard and Larry have worked something out inbetween them. My guess is that Larry needed to get permission from either Howard or other esate lawyers to move into Anna’s LA house (cause he cant just up and move in there with out SOMEONE’s permission first)

WRONG … GBT put forth assistance to help accomidate Anna w/ two prepaid lying Nannies as well as assistance in cleaning and updating of the house to accomidate not only Anna & Howard but also a new born. That lending tree ceased shortly after Daniel passed away and as such Anna paid for the utilities as well as the hired help from her own accounts. I do think that any such property taxes would be paid by the Estate, but it is a transaction that DOES occur in La~La Land where someone w/ large sums of monies purchases homes for others. There are several personal assistants ((Mel Gibson’s for example)) That have homes purchased by their employer to accomidate them. I do not mean to suggest that Anna was an employee to GBT but what I am attempting to display is that homes/properties are purchased for others based on NUMEROUS reasons.Eva (from Desperate Housewives purchased a grand new home for her parents) has also purchased property for others without the claim of wanting monies returned for the “gift”.
The original agreement between Anna & GBT was that the home would be repaid when Anna was ruled a settlement, when FS showed up to Horizons after Daniels funeral and attempted to strong arm Anna into signing a piece of paper assessing the worth of the home double what was the original price THIS is when Anna realized the under handedness of these select ppl. Considering the obvious use of her home by GBT & FS since neither owned homes in the Bahama’s but they did indeed make numerous stop overs on that beautiful island, this gave them somewhere to settle while on their journeys (???hmmm))) seems to have been a happy agreement between all parties until the realization that Anna’s celebrity image and the scandle the gossip rags made after the passing of Daniel, obviously dollar signs took over these shady characters that wanted money rather then any other relationship.
And lets not forget that GBT & FS lied to the utility company to have Anna’s hydro shut off … if the utilities were NOT in her name how the “F” did she get them back on ??? Lets be sensible here …. Just because this transpired in the Bahama’s does NOT mean that they are soo foreign that they permit outragous doings compaired to any other land out there.
Essentially what has happened is FS & GBT became greedy and changed the agreement to satisfy their need to be devious, if they stuck with the original agreement they would have been allotted payment when the settlement came through rather then attempting to wipe out all cents and dollars they could reap from Anna thinking she was just some ditzy blonde.
I do hope as each event comes to pass that many take the much needed time to re~evaluate their own stance in all this and come to the realization that just because Anna was a public figure does not mean that those surrounding her have to foot the same bill, H. Stern has been ethical and moral bound in all this. The fact that BOTH L. Birkhead & H. Stern have been mature and ADULT enough to put the past behind them for the BEST INTERESTS of Dannielynn should prove to be a TEMPLATE to those whom have used their children as the all mighty weapon in any custody case. Anna had her OWN reasons for doing as she did, but it has been demonstrated by both these men that they have their own “take” on it and have decided to do what is best for the child that has to see this play out in her adult years to understand the whys and hows of the life before her.

IMO…..This is my own personal feelings on all of it as a human being, period.
No person or persons anywhere should be treated in the manner Howard has been drug through the mud over and over because the media and some Anna disloyal wish to do so, just because they felt like it or do not like Howard for whatever reason. You have to have proof before convicting any one of anything. This is America. Gotta love it.
I personally hope that Howard wins everything and I personally think he is entitled to any monies that come his way. But, for his love for Anna he will put it all in a trust for the beautiful and precious baby Dannielynn, because he loves her so much.
If I or any of you have had to go through all this bull you would want some kind of compensation for it. I WOULD. Come on give the guy a break. He is defending Anna just like he said he would.
I think he should get the house whether he or Anna pay for it or not. When crooks do illegal things, if they did, then they should lose the house and everything else. That’s the perfect justice! You cannot do the things they have done to these folks and not be punished. I say “If your gonna break the law and the law of morals, then you lose.” They are grave robbers in my mind. Anna did not tell someone that she is on a video cursing, that she wanted them to go into her house and rob everything, IF anything happened to her. Give me a break. It does not take a rocket scientist to figure that one out. And that’s just one.
The wheels of justice are spinning and I am personally loving every minute of it.
Take them down Howard, one by one. Anna is so proud of the man she trusted and loved. I know that I am proud of you for what you have and have not done in this whole mess.

Thank God Roger Gomez is out of there. His loud mouth got his a** tossed. He was talking to Greta and others when he should have been quiet. It will all work out in the inquest. Howard loved Daniel and others need to put the b.s. to rest. I never for one moment believed that Howard was involved in any of this and still don’t. Billy Smith won’t be able to get Daniel’s body moved. Anna had custody and she put Daniel there. Billy was no where to be found when Daniel needed him, so he needs to go on. Any way, he doesn’t have any money so where is the money coming from?
Anna won’t rest until everyone lets go of Howard! Then and only then, will she find peace.

For your information, the courts are not catering to Howard, nor is Howard intimidating or manipulating them in any way. He is only doing what anyone would do in the same position, seeking justice, bless his dear soul.
Howard is an honorable man who puts most men to shame. He has been put through more than any human being should ever have to go through and has done nothing to deserve it. He loved Anna deeply and unconditionally and loved Daniel as well as Dannielynn. Most of us would give anything to have that kind of love from a man.
Howard is only doing what you or anyone else would do if you were in his place. I hope he continues to go after every single person that tried to bring him down in anyway.
Howard I wish you the very best luck in everything you do. I hope you get them all Howard. Don’t hold back. Best wishes Howard and know that we all love you and will be standing behind you all the way and praying for you.

Larry didn’t make or allow Howard to be executor of Anna’s estate! Gosh, when will people get this? Larry is Dannielynn’s biodad, period. Larry doesn’t have the power people think he has. I’m getting tired of writing this same old line all of the time. lol

Howard Stern had to endure two losses, that of Daniel and then Anna. Pretty tough. Worse yet, he had every media whore in the world looking at him and decide that he was a killer of the two people he deeply cared about.
Greta is still putting people on hewr show who have nothing positive to say about Howard, she ought to be the first anchor to pay up. Sue the heck out of them, Howard, it doesn’t bring Anna back but it will give you some satisfaction.
