Unless federal marshals walk in with an injunction to stop it, Anna Nicole Smith’s contested diaries will go on the auction block, and to the highest bidder Saturday, April 14, at 1 p.m at Heritage Auction Galleries in Dallas, Texas.
Howard K. Stern claims the diaries are stolen and is threatening to sue unless Heritage complies with his request to “return this stolen property to its rightful owner”— Anna Nicole’s estate, writes attack dog lawyer, L. I just spoke with Doug Norwine, a former sax player on the Simpson’s albums who runs music and entertainment auctions at Heritage. He aims to “take the high road,” he tells me, but without proof from Wood the diaries were indeed purloined, he’s going forward. Read the rest of this entry »
