Anna Nicole Smith and Her Travel Plans: Her Body Flies to Bahamas Tuesday
Sources tell me plans are firming up to fly Anna Nicole Smith’s embalmed body to the Bahamas on Tuesday, with a possible funeral on Friday. As ordered by Judge Larry Seidlin, who has been reviewing Virgie Arthur’s request for a stay, Dr. Joshua Perper, the Broward Medical Examiner will travel with the body, along with the guardian ad litum he appointed, Richard Milstein.
I’m predicting the judge will reject the stay, and the 4th Circuit will refuse to hear it, so the body lift to the Bahamas can proceed on schedule.
As for toxicology reports, sources tell me they will be in from 10-14 days, allowing Dr. Perper enough information to determine how the starlet-turned centerfold died on Feb. 8.

My prediction is that by tomorrow or Tuesday all of the issues are going to be moot. I believe that, mainly, because I have faith in the impact Judge Seidlin had on all of the parties.
The two siblings of Howard Stern, as well as Alex Goen of TrimSpa and Ron Rale, said on Thursday night that they think Larry and Howard are “working things out.” They all look like good people and they are in close touch with Howard.
Greta interviewed Ford Shelley and he indicated the same and, in fact, met with Howard and Larry on Thursday night.
When those people indicated that Howard “is going to do the right thing” it seems clear that he is submitting to the DNA test. What else could it mean?
I am sure that at this time, they are awaiting the results of the DNA. HOPEFULLY, they will know before all of the custody/paternity hearings tomorrow. Ford Shelley already indicated to Greta that Howard is no longer accusing Ford of the break-in at the house in the Bahamas.
Although Vergie Arthur probably has a good case for appeal, once Larry is put in charge, she might be willing to drop the appeal and be more receptive to the idea of burial in the Bahamas, at least temporarily. Maybe by now it has sunk in that it could take years to move Daniel.
I suspect that Judge Seidlin and Milstein are working with the parties at this very moment and will work out all of the details while the media and the country is distracted by the Academy Awards.
Also, although I KNOW that Dr. Perper would not ever reveal anything about his findings regarding the death, I suspect that Cyril Wecht has gotten wind of something, even by gleaned from subtle statements made. At first he was sure it was going to be Methadone.. Since he always likes to be right, he has come out front and center and is saying that the cause was infection and also drugs — but NOT Methadone. Dr. Perper had told Kimberly Guilfoyle in an interview that the critics should be careful saying Methadone because they might be surprised (paraphrasing). I hoped she would would follow up on Perper’s response but she didn’t. Perper and Wecht were both on the show that night last weekend.)
Judge Seidlin won’t let us down on this. I know he is getting the ducks in a row.

From what I’m hearing, cause of death could well be a very surprising infection, but don’t have enough to nail it down right now, just sensational rumors….
Cyril Wecht once worked with Dr. Perper; in fact he hired Dr. P to work in Allegheny, Pa., then they had a falling out that was later resolved.
I think we’ll see everyone get to see the baby, which will be extraordinary because Anna Nicole was adament about her mother and Larry B. That’s why she picked the Bahamas, and was considering Dubai–countries where you don’t have to be a biodad to be recognized as the father. So while she was alive, ANS would have no doubt fought Larry every step of the way, but now there is a chance to make peace with the survivors for Dannielyn’s sake, if not for her inheritance.
There is also a song that’s very popular in the Bahamas, called “Shame in the Family.” The line goes something like this: “Your Daddy’s not your Daddy, and your Mama don’t know.”
I think Anna knew, but she was hurt that Larry chose to work rather than cater to her several times, according to his testimony, and she pushed away anyone who tried to take away her drugs. It was addict behaviour, and a no-win for her or anyone who enabled her. Someone needed to do an intervention, but knowing Anna, she might have kicked them to the curb for it. Instead, it appears her lifestyle over time wound up killing her, or at least lowering her immune system so badly she couldn’t fight the infection.

Howard is a murderer, he needs to go to jail. as for Larry, did you see that video of Anna all over that doctor?in the gay bar? well I believe Anna’s mother is the right person for Dannielynn, Danna & Anna. it just makes me see to see how much Howard has done to keep her drugged up all the time, AND HOWARD, not everyone in this world is stupid, that video of Anna bad mouthing her mom, well you can easyily see she was on heavy drugs, & you were telling her over & over that her mother said she killed her own son with drugs. (well you lied to that Anna, & now you killed her & her son, but now she is with God & she knows what you did!) that is how bum Howard had Anna say those things. BUT YOU WANT TO KNOW SOMETHING! I watched that on tv, Anna’s mother was pleading with Anna to stay off the drugs & her SO CALLED FRIENDS!! thats what she said, to bad she wasnt pumped with so much drugs, she would of found out the truth on howard & she would of still be here! Has anyone been on ebay lately? come on Howard, there is personal stuff that only could of been in HER HOUSE, YOU THIEF. make your own money. you wanna be dog!

> Actually, Cyril Wecht had his office at St. Francis Hospital where I worked as an RN. We all knew him (always colorful!) and I knew of Dr. Perper. - To have a fever of 105, I have to wonder if she had a septicemia/toxic shock situation. Can’t wait to find out what meds she was taking.
Don’t forget that if this all works out for Dannielynn, the JUDGE is the one who deserves the credit. - I am thoroughly disgusted with the people who have ridiculed him. - Art and Jean Casares (Court TV) understood the judge when almost no one else did.
Howard is a pathetic figure with a personality disorder. He has no one to blame but himself for the legal problems he is now confronting, ie. the checks & credit cards, the prescriptions in his name found at the time of ANS’s death, the fraud related to him stating he was the father when he isn’t.
Hopefully, this will be wrapped up today!

This sounds reasonable to me:
Jeffrey Feiger was just on with Catherine Crier on Court TV. He says that Vergie’s attorney, John O’Quinn, is a big money lawyer and Jeffrey thinks this is all about “opening the estate” related to the Marshall case.
He said if Vergie gets custody of the body, O’Quinn will immediately file in TX to open the estate battle with the Marshalls. Then that would give Vergie standing to be FIRST in line.
Jeffrey thinks that the current alleged negotiations between Larry and Howard are all about them agreeing on filing to open the estate in California before Vergie can open in TX.

As it should be. Virgie is the only logical person to bury Anna. Dannilynn is a minor. The body is not unclaimed. Virgie is the next of kin. Daniel - by the way - sat in a funeral home in the Bahamas for 39 days - no less wound up being buried in the Bahamas what condition was he in at burial? Meanwhile they devote time to have a “Committment Ceremony” get the Birth Certificate recorded (making HKS the “Daddy”) and of course, I think they did research burying Daniel in the USA but due to Birkhead’s stance on paternity they made the Bahamas as a second choice decision.
Like it or not, Mr. Stern should have spent more time on the Will of Ms. Smith - some Attorney! If had done his job none of this would be going on!
